As our community grows, CHEO is evolving, and we continue to put the physical and mental wellbeing of families at the forefront of everything we do.
While wait times and staff shortages are a problem throughout the healthcare system in Canada, CHEO is making strides in addressing these challenges by rethinking the way services are offered, partnering with community health agencies and using virtual platforms to rethink the way we serve our community.
In 2024, we launched a campaign to build a new facility on our existing campus, bringing all services under one roof, giving families one location for multiple appointments. When working with children, hope can always be found, and we look to the future with optimism and determination.
You decide how your gift will be used: Urgent needs in the hospital, world-class research conducted at the CHEO Research Institute, a specific program or department in the hospital; Roger Neilson Children’s Hospice – offering palliative and bereavement services; or state of the art equipment that gives our kids the best diagnostic technology and treatment available.
No matter where you decide to direct your gift, you will be changing lives now and in the future. The impact of generous donors creating living legacies by making provisions for CHEO in their Wills will be felt by families for generations.
