Make giving fun by celebrating your special day with the children and youth here at CHEO. The Special Occasions program is designed to let loved ones donate to CHEO in honor of your special day. You can mark a birthday, graduation, anniversary or any other special milestone in your life by asking for donations in lieu of presents.

How to Give

Send out Invitations

If you would like to let your guests know you are donating to CHEO, let us help you to design free party invitations. You can do the following:

• Contact the Foundation at 613-737-2781 or email Katherine Craig at [email protected] for more information on the CHEO Celebration Program.
• You can order a supply of pre-printed donation cards and reply envelopes to give to your guests as invitations or at the party to remind guests to give to CHEO in lieu of presents.
• Once we have received your request, we will work closely with you to finish your order.

Guests can bring their donations to the party in the enclosed envelope or they can send their donations directly to the CHEO Foundation in the reply envelope to:

Please note: We recommend that donations be dropped off at the CHEO Foundation by the celebration recipient because we love meeting superheroes, like you, in person!

Upon receiving the collected donations, we will send you a letter of thanks informing you of the total amount of funds raised for CHEO. Tax receipts will be mailed directly to your guests for donations of $20 or more.

An order can take up to 1-2 weeks for delivery. If you require your order sooner, please contact us directly at: 613-737-2781.

Greeting Cards

Are you looking to give a unique gift in honour of someone special? Whether it’s a “Get Well Soon” or a “Happy Anniversary” card, you can choose from our four available options. Each card costs $3 or four cards for $10. Your card(s) will be mailed to your recipient of choice or you could stop by the CHEO Foundation (415 Smyth Road) and purchase the cards from reception.

Please note that any donation of $20 or more will receive a tax receipt.

Personal Fundraising Page

A great new way of connecting with friends and family online and help donate to CHEO on behalf of a special occasion.
