Ce montant provient des dons faits en ligne et par t\u00e9l\u00e9phone entre le 27 mai et le 8 juin seulement, comparativement \u00e0 un total annuel pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 lors des \u00e9ditions pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Le T\u00e9l\u00e9thon de cette ann\u00e9e, le 41<sup>e <\/sup>en 50 ans d\u2019histoire du CHEO, a mis en vedette la fa\u00e7on dont l\u2019argent des donateurs contribue aux besoins du CHEO, de l\u2019Institut de recherche du CHEO et de Roger Neilson, soins palliatifs pour enfants. Le T\u00e9l\u00e9thon du CHEO a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 l\u2019histoire de familles qui ont b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 des soins et des services, des exemples continus de la fa\u00e7on dont le CHEO contribue \u00e0 la croissance de cette communaut\u00e9 depuis 1974. <\/p>\n\n<p>\u00ab\u2009La g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9 de notre communaut\u00e9 est vraiment remarquable\u2009\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Steve Read, pr\u00e9sident-directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la Fondation du CHEO. \u00ab\u2009Qu\u2019il s\u2019agisse de moderniser l\u2019\u00e9quipement, d\u2019appuyer de nouvelles initiatives de recherche, d\u2019am\u00e9liorer nos infrastructures ou d\u2019assurer la disponibilit\u00e9 de programmes de soutien aux patients et \u00e0 leurs familles, ces fonds contribuent \u00e0 changer la vie des patients du CHEO et de leurs proches chaque jour. Alors que nous terminons une autre grande collecte de fonds couronn\u00e9e de succ\u00e8s, je tiens \u00e0 remercier la communaut\u00e9 qui a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 b\u00e2tir cette institution au fil des ans.\u2009\u00bb. <\/p>\n\n<p>Suite au T\u00e9l\u00e9thon, une importante campagne de capitalisation visant \u00e0 amasser des fonds pour de nouveaux projets d\u2019immobilisation sur le campus du
