Hockey season is right around the corner!
This fall, start a little friendly competition with your teammates and participate in the October Saves Goalie Challenge in support of CHEO. Every single save you make can not only help your team win the game, but you can also raise money to fight against cancer.
Goaltenders from mites to the NHL collect pledges for every save they make during the month of October. The result? Thousands of dollars donated to pediatric cancer research.
All saves count! Including saves in practice, saves in your driveway, saves while gaming, and saves on synthetic ice, this year we are encouraging you to be creative!
Registration for the 2021 season is now open! Visit www.octobersaves.org to sign up.
The last day to count saves is Sunday, October 31, 2021, and the fundraising deadline to collect and submit your outstanding pledges is Thursday, November 11, 2021. Winners and prizes will be announced on Friday, November 12, 2021.
