The 8th Annual Wonderland Tea Party in support of Youth Mental Health at CHEO has a mission to conduct fundraising efforts to help CHEO re-establish dedicated beds and treatment programs for the youngest in need of in-patient mental health care. The Hubley family has been trying to help children suffering from mental health issues since losing their son, Jamie to depression in 2011.
The Wonderland Tea Party began in 2016 and has raised over $190,000—equivalent to more than one year of in-patient mental health care for one patient bed to help re-establish and support in-patient mental health services for children under the age of 12.
The Wonderland Tea Party Event is emceed by Katherine Dines from MOVE100 radio, with up to 200 guests who sample a variety of tea sandwiches, sweets and profiteroles, including specialty teas and coffee.
