Cans for a Cause
About the Event
Emery and Sophia launched their first campaign in the summer of 2025 in loving memory of their late brother, Emil, raising an incredible $6,000 in support of children and families at CHEO’s Roger Neilson Children’s Hospice.
This year, they’re aiming even higher with a goal of raising $10,000 to help ensure compassionate, family‑centred care for children with complex medical needs.
From Friday, June 12 to Monday, June 15, community members are invited to drop off pop cans, beer, liquor, and water bottles at Roger Neilson Children’s Hospice to support this meaningful initiative. No sorting is required.
You can support CHEO in two ways:
- Donate your pop, beer, liquor, and water bottles outside Roger Neilson Children’s Hospice (RNCH)
- Make a direct donation to support Roger Neilson Children’s Hospice through the Cans for a Cause campaign page.

- Friday, June 12: 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Saturday, June 13: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Sunday, June 14: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Monday, June 15: 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
