Yes! Anyone over the age of 18 can order a ticket however you must be in Ontario when the ticket order is made online or by phone. It is also important to note that AGCO rules prohibit mailing tickets outside the province of Ontario. Any out of province residents that purchase a ticket must select e-mail as the delivery method of their tickets.

Yes! Anyone over the age of 18 can order a ticket, however you must be in Ontario when the ticket order is made online or by phone.
Tickets may be ordered online at www.cheo5050.ca. You can order your ticket using VISA, Mastercard or American Express. Cash purchases aren’t accepted due to provincial restrictions.

Ticket sales for the CHEO 50/50 lottery start in February 2025. Make sure to sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know when tickets are available for purchase.
The draw for the CHEO 50/50 lottery will take place on April 20, 2025, and the winner will be contacted shortly afterward.

It’s our way of thanking the community for their ongoing support. It’s a day filled with fun activities, designed to celebrate the contributions that help us provide care and services at CHEO, the CHEO Research Institute, CHEO School, and Roger Neilson Children’s Hospice.
Simply bring your family and your favourite teddy bear! There’s no cost to attend, and most of the activities are free. It’s a day of fun, celebration, and community spirit.
While the CHEO’s Teddy Bears’ Picnic, presented by Giant Tiger, is not a fundraising event, your continued support throughout the year ensures that children, youth, and families receive the care they need at CHEO.
Absolutely! You can support our ongoing efforts by making a donation online or volunteering at one of our many events throughout the year.
Yes, you can direct your donation, though non-designated funds are preferred to address the hospital’s most urgent needs. Your community engagement representative can guide you on the possible options.
If you’d like the CHEO Bear mascot at your event, contact the CHEO Foundation at 613-737-2780 at least two weeks in advance. You’ll also need a volunteer to wear the costume and someone to assist. Please note the CHEO Bear requests are on a first come first serve basis and requests can’t always be fulfilled.
Donations of $20 or more are eligible for an official tax receipt – event organizers must collect full donor contact information for tax receipt purposes. Lottery tickets, raffle tickets, or merchandise do not qualify for a tax receipt. Event organizers cannot claim a tax receipt in their own name for the total amount raised at their event. Yes! Please contact the CHEO Foundation office at 613-737-2780 to register your event and a Community Engagement team member will reach out to you within two business days to accommodate your request. Please note that we require at least 10 business days notice in order to have all materials collected and ready for you.
Donations can be submitted online, in person, via e-transfer or by cheque. Please work directly with your Community Engagement representative. Make cheques payable to the CHEO Foundation and mail to the address below. Be sure to include information regarding your event. Please do not mail cash.

Yes. We’re happy to organize a cheque presentation at the CHEO Foundation. You can work directly with a member on our Community Engagement Team to schedule a time. Be sure to register your event and someone from our team will reach out to you within two business days of your form submission.

Tax receipts are automatically issued for donations of $20 or more. When you are making your donation by mail or over the phone please provide your full name and address so we can ensure that your tax receipt is sent to the correct address. If you are donating online your tax receipt is issued electronically and is sent to the email address you provide.
Yes. When you donate online or by phone, please indicate which program or department will receive your gift. If you send a cheque please enclose a note stating where you would like your funds directed.
It’s easy!
Make a donation online or call the main Foundation line at 613-737-2780 and simply inform the receptionist you would like to make a donation in honour of a loved one. If you would like a card sent to the family please have their name and mailing address available to share with the Foundation. If you wish you can also inform us of your own personalized note for the card. The amount of your donation will be kept confidential.
Yes it can be pledged over multiple years up to a maximum of five years. This type of donation helps CHEO plan ahead by knowing that sustainable funding is available for a number of years to come.
No, the CHEO Foundation DOES NOT solicit door-to-door.
Yes! Each year, hundreds of caring individuals and groups raise money for CHEO in their own creative ways by hosting their own community events. These events include everything from bake sales to golf tournaments to fashion shows. If you are ready to organize your own event, all you need is a little creativity, some careful planning and the desire to make a difference in the lives of the kids here at CHEO!
