Announcing the launch of the 2025 CHEO Dream of a Lifetime Lottery
September 10, 2025 (Ottawa, ON) – The 2025 CHEO Dream of a Lifetime Lottery has officially launched. This year’s lottery features the largest retail value in lottery history with over $5.2 million in prizes to be won. A must-see Minto Dream Home, luxury vacations to world-class destinations, brand-new vehicles, and so much more are yours to win.

The grand prize package is valued at over $3.7 million and includes a stunning Dream Home built by Minto, designed by Minto’s Karen van der Velden and decorated by Tanner Vine of Tanner Vine Interiors. Named “The Sterling,” the home features clean lines and geometric elegance that defined the 1920s, now refreshed with modern materials and a softer, more livable edge. It features a state-of-the-art theatre room, a cozy lounge for relaxation and a fitness centre promoting well-being. The 5,360 square-foot Minto Dream Home is located at 808 Skysail Place, Manotick.
The grand prize winner will also receive$100,000 in cash, a 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 4MATIC SUV courtesy of Star Motors of Ottawa, house cleaning for a year from ATC Cleaning, legal services from Mann Lawyers LLP, moving services from Adam’s Moving, $5,000 in groceries from Farm Boy and a $5,000 W.O. Stinson and Son Ltd. gas card.
The Minto Dream Home is open for viewing Tuesdays to Fridays from noon to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

- 50/50 Draw: Also returning this year is the popular 50/50 Draw, with a guaranteed minimum prize of $1 million. Tickets for the 50/50 Draw are available at a cost of one for $10, five for $25 or 15 for $50.
- Winner’s Choice: The first chance to win this year will feature your choice of a 2025 Volkswagen ID. Buzz, a 2025 Bronco Heritage Edition or $100,000 cash. The deadline for this prize is Friday, September 26.
- Early Bird Prize: The Early Bird Prize will offer $250,000 to the lucky recipient who purchases their tickets by Friday, November 21.
