The Event
CHEO Foundation and The Royal Ottawa Golf Club are proud to host the CHEO Charity Classic Golf Tournament on Monday, July 7, 2025. This is the first of three annual tournaments in support of CHEO’s transformation of pediatric care through the Kids These Days redevelopment.
With a mission to raise $1 million over three years, this exclusive golf tournament will see 196 golfers take to the greens at the prestigious Royal Ottawa Golf Club and embark on a day of fun and friendly competition and networking, all in the name of transforming pediatric care in our community.
Guests will be treated to a luxurious day on this world-class golf course – from networking opportunities, activations, to wonderful food and drinks, this is a must-attend event. Guests will also have the opportunity to bid on a live and silent auction with funds raised contributing to the overall financial goal of the CHEO Charity Classic.
Golfers have the choice between golfing on the main course (18 holes), or golfing on the Royal 9 (9 holes). All players and guests are invited to take part in our can’t miss post-golf celebratory reception, which will offer great entertainment, food and drinks. For those who cannot attend the golfing portion of the day, reception-only tickets are available for individual purchase.
This inaugural tournament is part of CHEO Foundation’s commitment to making a real difference in the lives of children, youth and families who rely on CHEO. We know this goal will only be achieved with the support of generous people like those in the golfing community and leaders like those at The Royal Ottawa Golf Club. The CHEO Charity Classic is a rain or shine event, however, in extreme weather conditions there can be delays or cancellation.

- Foursome on 18 – $4,500
* post-golf cocktail reception included in registration - Foursome on Royal 9 – $2,800
* post-golf cocktail reception included in registration - Reception Only – $225
Event Timeline:

8:00 a.m. – Guests golfing on the main course to arrive.
Registration and breakfast.
10:00 a.m. – Shotgun start golfers tee off.
12:00 p.m. – Royal 9 golfers arrive.
Registration and light lunch.
1:30 p.m. – Royal 9 shotgun start.
3:30 p.m. – All golfers return to clubhouse for post-golf reception.
4:00 p.m. – Post-golf reception begins.
Live auction and closing remarks.
