Hair Donation Ottawa

An Important Announcement Regarding Hair Donation Ottawa

It is after much thoughtful consideration that we’ve made the difficult decision to discontinue the Hair Donation Ottawa program.

This decision comes after the passing of a dedicated partner, Cat Foster. We extend our deepest gratitude to Cat’s loving and devoted network of family and friends for their many years of support for children and youth with cancer.

We are incredibly grateful for your past fundraising and donation efforts. Even though this program is ending, you can still make a difference for CHEO patients and families dealing with a cancer diagnosis by donating HERE. Rest assured patients who need financial support to receive a wig can connect with their care team for assistance.

We also invite you to join us in other fundraising activities by visiting our Events page.

For our past and current participants, we’ve compiled a list of everything you need to know, including other organizations that can accept your next hair donation and ensure it’s used for wigs or environmental purposes.

Thank you so much for your support over the years. We hope you’ll continue to join us at the CHEO Foundation through our many other opportunities to improve care for the children, youth, and families we serve.

We can’t do it without you!
