CHEO was built on the generosity of our donors, even before our doors opened in 1974. Charitable donations – of $5,000 or more – have a powerful impact on a range of issues that face kids these days, from clinical care to research and beyond. As we seek to transform care for the next generation, your support is vital.

Create a CHEO Endowment Fund
When you create a named CHEO Endowment Fund, you are building a permanent source of funding that is preserved in perpetuity with the annual interest generated being directed to the support and care of CHEO patients.
There are no fees charged on the administration of your CHEO endowment fund which means that 100% of your donation goes directly to supporting CHEO programs. You can start a fund with a minimum contribution of $25,000 or build up to that amount over time.
You can donate to your fund at any time and so can anyone else. Many times, donors request donations to their CHEO endowment fund in lieu of gifts to mark a milestone such as an anniversary or a birthday.
You can name your CHEO endowment fund which makes it a meaningful way to remember and honour someone. Many donors have created such a fund in memory of a former patient or family member and have named it after that individual or in their own name. You can choose to either specify the use of your fund’s interest to a certain department or program or to have an unrestricted fund which allows the interest to be directed to CHEO’s most urgent needs.
