A typical visit to CHEO during Samantha DiMurro’s cancer treatment would see Sam’s mom Helen drop her off at the front door while she would go and park the car. While this plan helped Samantha avoid the walk from the parking lot, mom soon learned that it would also mean a few extra minutes to seek out her daughter once inside. You see, even while being treated for multiple medical conditions, Sam has come to love the staff at CHEO who have cared for her over the past seven years, and mom would have to check any number of areas where Samantha would already be visiting with one or more of these amazing people.
