2005 Annual Report

We would like to introduce you to Annie Underhill, a six year old with an adorable smile and an engaging personality that has you falling in love within minutes of meeting her. What is most amazing is that her sparkle is that of a child who has led a healthy, care-free life when in actuality, Annie has faced more adversity and experienced more pain in her seven years than most of us will face in our lifetime. Annie was just four years old and in Junior Kindergarten when she first showed signs of being ill. A few short weeks later, doctors at CHEO diagnosed Annie with cancer, more specifically Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Annie and her family were looking ahead to 910 days of chemotherapy.
