The volunteer committee of the Wonderland Tea Party Event is fundraising for its ninth year to support mental health care and services at CHEO.
Join us on Sunday, May 5 from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m.
Blu Legacy Convention Centre, 3750 N Bowesville Road, Ottawa.
Our mission has always been to conduct fundraising efforts that will help more children have a brighter future. CHEO is also looking to the future as they embark on their ambitious plan to create the CHEO Integrated Treatment Centre, also known as 1Door4Care. This once in a generation investment will improve health services for children and youth living with complex medical, developmental, behavioral or mental health needs.
This year’s Wonderland Tea Party Event will be emceed by the compassionate Katherine Dines from MOVE100 radio, with guests sampling a variety of tea sandwiches, sweets, and profiteroles, as well as specialty teas and coffee.
As is our tradition, we invite all guests to wear their ‘Sunday Best” and to complement their attire with a fascinator, dressy hat, or other fancy headpiece. You can also further support our fundraising by purchasing a fascinator at the party! All who participate in the fun will be entered into a special prize draw.
We look forward to seeing you for a scrumptious array of light refreshments including tea, coffee, sandwiches, gourmet sweet treats, and more to support mental health treatment and care at CHEO.
